Acoustic design for a 1800-seat opera house able to accommodate western opera with pit but also traditional Ethiopian events.
NWD State Theatre Redevelopment, Hong Kong SAR, China
The project is to restore Hong Kong’s last surviving movie palace, which during the 1950’s was the home of live music in Hong Kong. ARD worked with SRTC and architects Wilkinson Eyre on the concept design to restore the iconic cultural landmark for the next generation..
